Movie Industry

In 1927 in Pittsburgh, a group of eleven gentlemen affiliated with the entertainment industry founded Variety as their social club. In 1928 they adopted a baby girl who was abandoned in the Sheridan Theatre on Christmas Eve (see History Page). And so began Variety, the Greatest Children's Charity in the world.
The Movie Industry Advisory Council continues Variety's well-established tradition in the movie industry.
We are thankful to the following members for support of our efforts.
